The Insecurity Championship is the next event on the Champion's Tour, held October 7th through the 9th at The Woodlands Country Club in The Woodlands, Texas. It features a purse of $1,700,000 with Fred Couples the 2010 Champion, with a grand prize of $255,000. There are just three tournaments to go before the Champion's Tour ends for the year, the next the At& t Championship, October 14th through the 16th, followed the Charles Schwab Cup Championship in San Francisco, California and then the final event will be the Champion's Tour Q-School, from November 14th to the 20th.





The field for this tournament will include Corey Paving, Jay Haas, Kenny Perry and Nick Price, as well as Tom Per nice Jr. Andy Bean and Chip Beck. Phil Black mar and Jay Don Blake will be playing as well along with Kenny Perry, Gary Halberd and John Harris. Others that are scheduled to attending include Peter Senior, Tom Lehman, Bernhard Lange, Russ Cochran and Tom Kite, as well as Loren Roberts and Fred Couples. The Nationwide Tour next holds the Children Hospital Classic, which will be from October 6th to the 9th. Scott Gardner won the tournament last year, winning $90,000 of the $500,000 prize. The venue for the tournament is the Black Creek Club in Chattanooga, Tennessee. There are just four tournaments left to go for the 2011 season of Nationwide Tour golf. Next up is the Miccosukee Championship, held October 13th through the 16th in Miami, Florida. The final two tournaments are the Win Dixie Jacksonville Open and the Nationwide Tour Championship at Daniel Island.
